Big Snowy Owl

Say hello to my little friend:

This fluffy, wonderful guy is Big Snowy Owl.  Big Snowy Owl was this year’s Christmas present for the fabulous niecelings, and I’ll admit, I miss him a bit.  But here’s the good news:  he’s only a three hour knit!  Um, how fantastic is that?

You can find the pattern (for free!  Round of applause for free!) at the Purl Bee, or by just clicking here.  You can use their yarn, or find a snuggly, budget friendly alternative somewhere near by.  I had to go acrylic for this guy to avoid wooling the vegans.  🙂  As you can see, he’s really not very little at all, and squishy and cozy and friendly and great.  He’s also super emo in these pics.  Owls are like that.
