Good Yarn - Girl of Cardigan

No, I don’t know when we’ll be bringing Little T home.

But I do know what she’ll be wearing.

Meet the Small Things Romper by Carina Spencer, knit up by yours truly in Cascade SuperWash 220, which is a winner of a workhorse yarn in my book – soft and washable and altogether satisfying.  And yes, blue is a controversial choice for a baby girl’s take home outfit.  But I’m a girl, and I wear blue all the time.  There you have the beginning and end of my justification.  😉

Besides, this way, if she ever has a baby brother he can come home in the same dang thing.  Cause knitting takes time, people.

There are bound to be a few more knits popping up in the next few weeks here in blogland – I’m at home now (no more work!  So weird.) and finishing up all the tiny baby things, so brace yourself for a barrage of tiny knits and nursery pics and maybe the occasional late-night sappy musing as the countdown to Little T continues.

Two more weeks, lovely friends… or maybe 3… let’s shoot for 2…

love.

Too cute! And Mommies don’t have to justify anything, especially when they knit it themselves! Little T will look adorable in it.

I check your blog daily looking for news about Little T’s arrival. Praying for you, Daddy, and Little T.

    love.
