Good Yarn - Girl of Cardigan
Good morning, lovely friends.
Back to school time always gets me super jazzed about fall (nerd.)  This is my absolute favorite time of year, early fall through early winter, and I’m looking forward to a chill in the air and wool in my hands (I know, I know.  Lucky for you I don’t control the weather.)
Here’s my dream list of things to knit for this fall:

Um, hello, birds on it?  Swallow Cowl by Hannah Fettig

I love fall/winter even though we don’t get a big.break from summer before winter hits. Here in Texas, it goes from weeks of 100 degrees to 80 degrees for a week then down to the 40’s and lower. The leaves go from green on the branch to being dead on the ground the next day. I’ve been knitting like mad and can’t wait to start a few more projects in the next month or so. My goal is to knit some form of sweater this year, finally. I think I’ll try the one in More Last Minute Knitted Gifts. It looks simple-ish. 🙂

This post makes me pine for fall. Delicious!
My friend made the fiddlehead mittens! They’re quite fascinating. I’m still working on a baby blanket for my niece who is now two months old. I need to finish before they actually need it.

I can’t wait to see some of these knit up! I don’t think I’m familiar with ANY of these patterns – thanks for posting!!! BTW – I want the shirt and cardigan that the lady is wearing in the braided ear warmer photo. So pretty.

I love fall! It is my absolute favorite season. (Jason’s too.) I love light sweater weather. Not only has it always been my favorite season in CA, but it was also the only season in OK where you could comfortably be outside. 🙂

You have a great gift to be able to put these kind of projects on your to do list. I can hardly sew a button 😛 My favorite thing about fall that I get to wear boots! Don’t know why but I feel my best in boots! Good luck on these projects and I recommend the next “prize” to be a chance to make something under your guidance 🙂
