28 weeks.
Geez.
28 weeks. That’s third trimester, kids. It seems like only minutes ago I was announcing our pregnancy to everyone, and now it feels like our baby girl is just around the corner. Time is crazy. I promise I’m way, way happier about it than I look in this picture:
Notable highlights:
First hiccups this week (hers, not mine) during our Wednesday night yoga class. The lovely thing about prenatal yoga is that when you stop what you’re doing to sit and feel your daughter hiccup, nobody is annoyed, cause everybody gets it.
Unbelievably wonderful baby shower last weekend, courtesy of my generous and talented sister and mom. Full post on that in the future.
Nursery is well underway – all the major furniture is in place, and I’ve even hung a few art pieces… I’m sure the suspense is just killing you. 😉 Post on that to follow too, obvi.
We go in for our follow up ultrasound next Monday to see if my friendly little placenta has decided to play nice and be where it belongs, and if my pesky ovarian cyst of doom, with its teeth and hair and creepy notquitetwinness has miraculously disappeared as per my very clear instructions. Prayers are always appreciated.
I have easily the world’s most tolerant husband. Favorite is a gem. A dishwashing, mealcooking, wifespoiling gem. That man is priceless.
