Fit with Fave - Common Sense Changes for Better Eating - Girl of Cardigan

Please don’t hate me.

Don’t hate me, because it’s that time again.

Time to kick the meat out of two more of your dinners, bringing you down to just ONE ,TWO, or THREE meat eating nights a week.

Guys, really, tho, you can do it.  I believe in you so much.

Here’s the great news: now that you’re eating meat less frequently, you can afford to buy the good stuff.  Treat yourself to the buffalo from the farmer’s market, or fresh local fish, or that organic free range chicken you know you should buy but never can justify.  See if you can find an old school, whole animal butcher in your area, or even a farm, and feel so proud of yourself for eating and feeding your family the best possible quality stuff.  No more pink meat goo to save a buck.  You are going infrequent, but in doing so, you are going LUXE, my friend.

I know you need ideas.  Fall is coming, so I highly recommend soups and stews as easy vegetarian dinners.  As always, you can follow me on Pinterest to see what I’m cooking.  Just to make sure you are covered, here are some of my favorite veggie blogs to keep you knee deep in recipes, stamina, and hope.

Oh My Veggies: best if you exclaim “Oh my, Veggies!” repeatedly while cooking.

Oh She Glows: vegan and oh so pretty.

The Veggie Nook: Gabby is a little bit adorable.

Veggie Num Num: When you need some recipes that aren’t overwhelming, this is your jam.

You can DO this.

love.
