Long story short: Every year, I spend a few (okay, several) hours putting together a list of free or cheap or fun events around Portland, because summer in Portland is straight up drunk with awesome free stuff to do. So, for the months of June, July, and August, tune in here every Friday for a list of what’s happening for the next 7 days. I’m not going to link things – Google what looks interesting to you! I’m also not listing shows and concerts with a cover – free things only, with the exception of a few all-day festivals and events. Here we go!

The City Fair is up and running on the Waterfront (Fee to enter, also to ride rides)
Grand Floral Float showcase is on after 3, also at the Waterfront.
Family Fun Day at Cowboy Jerry’s in Oregon City, $7 per car, ponies and facepainting and bbq fun times
