Pattern: Citron Shawl by Hillary Smith Callis, found in Knitty, Winter 2009

Yarn: Berroco Ultra Alpaca Fine, purchased at Close Knit in PDX, a yarn store after my own heart.

Thoughts: Love.  I made this shawl a bit smaller than the pattern indicated (fewer ruffle rows) because I planned to mostly wear it bunched around my neck, as I do most things.  I love the heathery rustiness of this particular yarn… such a fun neutral!  This is one of my very favorite summer scarves, fo sho.  Here’s the Ravelry post.

Other outfit notes: Dress: Clothing Swap Cardigan: ancient Forever 21 Belt: Gap.  Best belt of my life.

love.
