Lesson of the day: Just because something has been done before, it isn’t any less awesome.
Take for example this adorable girl, who has vowed to wear the same dress every day (every day!) for the next 100 days in order to raise money for orphans through Warm Blanket Orphan Care. Which makes me completely sure of a few things: 1. this girl is a total rockstar and 2. I need to figure out how to do more good with my daily wardrobe. I mean, good grief. Way to raise the bar, lovely.

In other news, I baked a cake yesterday.
Bittersweet chocolate with fresh strawberry filling and cream cheese icing. I’m a little proud. Thanks, Real Simple Magazine. You consistently make me feel like a successful housewife. 🙂
