Remember these booties from my spring knitting love list?

I decided I’d better knit some before my smallest nieceling is no longer a teeny tiny.  Here they are!

Not to toot my own horn, but are they cute or what?

Pattern: First Step Baby Boots by Julia Noskova  Size 6-12 months

Yarn: Be Sweet Bamboo, from Twisted in Portland

Thoughts:  I just love them.  Can you possibly not love them?  This yarn was fantastic, albeit splity – the end product is squishy and soft and just about as good as one can get without using animal products.  Pattern wise, there were a few spots that were tricky to follow, but nothing you can’t handle. I love them madly, madly, madly.

If you also happen to love them madly, madly, madly, and you’d like to purchase your own pair, let me know.  I can hook you up.

love.

I love them too- I’m a bootie lover! (?!) Now I want to ask to borrow your pattern….. is that terrible? Love the choice of button too. Yea! Oh, and who took the photo? It’s awesome in its own right. 🙂
