Well folks, the DIY Fair has come and gone.  There were some fantastic projects in the room this year, and I wanted to share a few internet tutorials with you, inspired by all the wisdom and goodness offered by the crafters I met last weekend.  Here are some of my favorite ideas this year!

For the kiddos:

Who doesn’t want a skateboard swing?

The cutest way to warm their pockets.

Homemade chalk.  Because giving artistic potential is a little awesome.

For the person who has everything:

I guarantee they don’t have a personalized set of these.  Creepy?  Hell yes.  Fantastic?  So much.

Cat lover on your list?  Dude.  This almost makes me want a cat.

For your hipster biking friend.

Man-friendly gifties:

Know a home brewer?  Use his leftovers to make treats for his dog.

For your English major boyfriend.

Whiskey infused beef jerky.  Practically dripping with testosterone.

For the craftily inclined:

Screen Print your own things.  Because you can.

I’m dying to try making yarn out of newspaper.

Ridiculously easy projects:

Rosemary Infused Sea Salt for your friends who love homemade pizza (salt the crusts!  salt all the crusts!)

String art is actually super simple – print an image, hammer nails around the edge through the paper, tear away the pattern and string on.

Mulling Spices that smell like heaven.

Seed bombs to spread some cheer.

There are tons of additional  ideas and fabulous projects on my Pinterest board, if you are in need of even more inspiration.  Happy giving and crafting and smelling cinnamony things!!
